Naturalist
Jenny grew up in Scioto County on the edge of the Shawnee Forest and knows the area well. She is the naturalist for Shawnee State Park, and is an extremely personable and gifted educator. Her interest include ornithology, herpetology, butterflies and botany. She heads up the local NABA Butterfly counts each summer and helps with the Audubon Winter Bird counts each December. She loves sharing her love of nature with people of all ages. Each year she conducts nature programs for thousands of park visitors including school kids, scout and 4-H groups, local clubs and just anyone who shows up in the park for a scheduled event.
